Tell Me More...
A new and exciting addition to the 'Everpanthus' family which is known its longer flowering season, with many fuller flowerheads and evergreen foliage. Agapanthus Everpanthus 'Poppin Star' will not fail to make a good impression with its bicoloured, intriguingly marked flowers - produced so abundantly that it seems like they will never stop. Trumpet-shaped blooms in shades of mauve with dark purple stripes, cluster together to form large, almost spherical globe-like flowerheads. Held on strong stems, Agapanthus Everpanthus 'Poppin Star' is loved by florists for adding real pizzazz to arrangements. The compact, strap-like, green foliage forms tidy mounds beneath these strong stems and is evergreen, lending year-round verdancy to your garden and containers.Reaching a height and spread of 50cm, Agapanthus Everpanthus 'Poppin Star' has been given an RHS hardiness rating of H5, which means protection will only be required if temperatures dip below -15 C. Agapanthus are beneficially drought tolerant once established and prefer to be grown in well-drained soil in full sun.
