Tell Me More...
Agapanthus ‘Columba’ is a beautiful new arrival for 2024 with striking bicoloured flowers which are sure to stand out from the crowd. A generous specimen with 15 or more eyes per root – this will give you a fabulous display, flowering from July to September. Blooms are held on long, strong stems and multiple trumpet shaped, open flowers form generous spherical clusters reaching up to 90cm tall. A wonderfully colourful and exotic looking inclusion in a vase or other floral display where they will last up to 2 weeks. Happy in a container or an herbaceous border, agapanthus like their roots restricted for best results. Foliage emerges in March and lasts until October, with strap shaped leaves form arching, architectural form for extended interest. Plant Agapanthus ‘Columba’ in well-drained soil of any kind except clay. Position in full sun for best results. A hardy, herbaceous perennial which can be grown outside all year throughout most of the UK.
