A fantastic, bio-active fertiliser developed specifically for evergreen plants such as box, bay trees, camelias, yew and conifers. Afterplant Evergreen Food with Rootgrow should be applied to plants in the ground for the first 3-5 years, whilst they establish healthy, interconnected root systems. Containerised plants should be treated twice a year as they do not have such ready access to nutrients as they would in the ground. It is a well-known fact that what happens underneath the soil is vital to what grows above it, and this scientifically formulated food promotes improved metabolism of nutrition and water, leading to stronger stems with an increase in healthy top growth.In their natural habitat evergreen plants are fertilised by leaves, needles and fruits that fall to the ground and decompose. Afterplant Evergreen Food with Rootgrow has been carefully developed to replicate this process in the managed environment, promoting the plant's production of both stabilising and feeding roots using mycorrhizal fungi in a complex process that also helps develop better soil at the same time.
