Striking, dark, chocolate-purple foliage provides a dramatic contrast to the creamy white, bottlebrush-like flowers, held on tall stems from late summer to early autumn. The fragrant flowers attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies, enhancing the biodiversity of your garden. Reaching heights of 1.2m, with a spread of 60cm, ‘Chocoholic’ is a fully hardy herbaceous perennial which thrives in partially shaded to fully shaded locations. An excellent choice for woodland gardens, shaded borders, and mixed perennial beds, preferring moist, well-drained soil. A favourite with florists, adding elegance and fragrance to indoor arrangements, this low-maintenance plant is relatively pest and disease-resistant, requiring minimal care. Simply remove spent flower spikes as required, to keep the plant looking tidy and encourage healthy growth.
