Tell Me More...
Just like an exciting new variety of your favourite wine, Achillea millefolium 'New Vintage Violet' brings bright and adventurous purple-pink flowers to your garden between June and September each year. The scores of tiny flowers with creamy-white centres nestle together on long, strong stems to form flat, domed clusters of vibrant, nectar-rich beauties. Perfect for weed-suppressing groundcover which adds nectar-rich colour to borders, rockeries and containers. Foliage is feathery and fern-like - it emerges as early as February, lasting through to November adding silvery-green shimmers to the garden as it moves with the seasonal breezes. The stems also make a colourful inclusion to a vase or other floral display.Achillea millefolium 'New Vintage Violet' prefers a spot in well-drained soil which benefits from full sun. Plants are drought tolerant once they have established and will naturalise to bring more blooms each year. A fully hardy perennial which reaches a height and spread of 50cm.
