Myosotis is a genus of approximately 74 species of flowering plants in the family Boraginaceae and are more commonly known as Forget-me-nots or Scorpian Grasses. The name Myosotis comes from a Greek word meaning 'mouse's ear' which refers to how the foliage looks.
Myosotis can be annuals, perennials or biennials with simple leaves and clusters of small blue, yellow, pink or white flowers with yellow or white eyes that bloom during spring and summer. The blooms are attractive to both bees and butterflies. They are best planted in borders and containers and suit an informal or cottage style garden.
