The Queen of the Zinnia world, Zinnia elegans Queen Lime Red is an exceptional and unique variety which has earned much admiration. Unusual, fully double blooms up to 9cm wide, will appear summer into autumn. Looking textured, pale red outer petals fade to lime green towards the centre. The imposing, impressive blooms are held on strong, well-branched, stems, which make stylish cut flowers for your home, with a long vase life. Zinnia originate from Mexico and other warm climates and are now grown worldwide, known for their qualities as easy-going colourful blooms. Zinnia Queen Lime Red prefers to be grown in well-drained soil in a sunny location, whether in borders or containers. Reaching a height of 60cm, and a spread 20cm. A half-hardy annual, which will flower her socks off all year; then you can easily collect the seed and sow them the following year for many more plants for you and your friends.
