Verbena Seabrook's Lavender is a magnificent hardy, delicately scented Verbena which is named after the well-known gardener, Peter Seabrook after it was first discovered growing in his garden. Battling through the winter months, enduring temperatures down to -10 C, Verbena Seabrook's Lavender will bloom his heart out, producing a profusion of distinctive, almost two-tone blooms in shades of mauve-lavender from May to November, much to the delight of your local pollinating friends. Making a tidy compact mound of foliage which is excellent, weed suppressing groundcover, he performs perfectly when planted in either containers or borders. Preferring to be grown in moist, well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Growing to a height and spread of 35-40cm, Seabrook's Lavender is a hardy perennial which will thrive outside all year round in most UK winters, only requiring protection during the coldest times.

FH - Fully hardy - will withstand temperatures down to -15 C (5F) and often lower.
H - Hardy - are happy down to at least -5C (23F).
HH - Half hardy - can withstand down to around 0C (32F).
T - Tender - may be damaged by temperatures below 5C (41F)
WT Warm temperate can withstand temperatures between 5-10 C (41-50 F)
