Description
Tulip Rasta Parrot, a member of the parrot group of tulips, first appeared in France and found their way to Holland in the Eighteenth century when they became highly prized and extremely expensive. Fortunately for you that is not the case now and these exotic looking tulips no longer cost as much as house! Parrot tulips are cup shaped, fringed and twisted blooms with ruffled edges and creased petals so, as a form, they fall into the 'unusual' category. Furthermore, Tulip Rasta Parrot comes in an exotic mix of colours - green, red, orange, yellow and purple hues - akin to a rare, exotic macaw parrot. Plant the bulbs in Autumn to a depth of 15cm in a site where they will get full or part sun and ideally put them in a spot where they can be properly admired at the front of a bed or in a container then wait to enjoy.
