Description

Tulip Crispion Sweet is a frothy confection of a Tulip, creating an eye-catching centrepiece. These flowers will attract pollinators to your garden. This double-petalled Tulip has watermelon pink petals which are delicately frilled and marbled with white. The pink deepens as the bloom matures. The mid-green foliage contrasts with the bright blooms perfectly. Planting Tulip Crispion Sweet in clumps of 10-15 will create a beautiful floral drift of colour. Bulbs are planted at a depth of 15cm in a sunny and sheltered spot. The soil should be fertile but well-drained. Tulip Crispion Sweet grows to a height of 40cm (16') and spreads to 15cm (6'). Plant in autumn for May blooms. Classified as H6 hardy by the RHS and awarded their Award of Garden Merit. Deadhead the spent flowers and remove faded foliage to encourage fresh blooms next year. Ideal as a cut flower for vase or floral arrangement.
