Description

Evocative of delicious desserts and glorious golden evenings, Tulip Berries and Cream Collection will provide untrammelled splendour all through spring and early summer. One of the most-loved spring blooms, warm weather and better times are heralded by the arrival of the tulip. Best planted in the autumn, before the ground freezes, seeing the green shoots from a tulip bulb emerging from the once frozen ground gives you optimism and hope. The Tulip Berries and Cream collection comprises Tulip City of Vancouver - a single late variety with scented white cup-shaped blooms that matures to show creamy-yellow overtones, height 50cm; Burgundy Lace - deep berry-coloured, fringed blooms on strong stems reaching a height of approximately 60cm; Flaming Parrot - large ruffled yellow blooms with red swirls and twists, height 60cm; Antraciet - huge, scented peony-like red blooms with an almost metallic sheen, height 45cm; Yellow Crown - a rare variety with golden, crown-shaped blooms, height 40cm. An enchanting collection.
