Description

Hayloft's summer Broder Collection - Geum prinses Juliana, Verbascum Merlin, Salvia nemerosa Caradona Summertime brings warm weather and warmer feelings. Butterflies floating on the breeze, bees buzzing, the smiling sun illuminating the colours of your border. Perhaps the time of year when most gardeners are at their happiest and your garden looks its best. Hayloft would like to present three perennials for your border, which bring colour, cheer, and capture the spirit of summer. The enduring pleasure of growing perennials is a sense all gardeners are familiar with; watching your charges improve with age is a simple joy. Geum prinses Juliana - Geums provide wonderful hues for the border and are the fashionable plant to grow. Geum prinses Juliana is a rich double flowered orange variety. The colour has such depth; imagine the setting sun over the Mediterranean shedding light on the clouds, and you will be close. Verbascum Merlin - this selection is a festival of pink. Verbascum produce spires, which act as a contrast to daisy-like flowers, brings elevation to the border, and creates a column of colour. Verbascum Merlin generates soft pink flowers with a mauve central eye. The impact of these pink pillars rising out the summer border is memorable. Salvia nemerosa Caradona - Perhaps one of the most desirable of all Salvia. Aromatic grey-green foliage, deep purple stems, small violet-blue spires, all combine for stylish effect. With a compact habit this is a popular choice for the front of border and is a beautiful easy grow plant. This collection is for you to enjoy this summer and many summers thereafter. Our hope is you find the colours, varying heights, contrasting flower shapes, and the resulting butterflies, adding to your happiness.
