Hand-picked selections of large blooms in complementary shapes and shades held on strong stems, dancing in borders in mid and late spring withstanding wind and rain. Tulips are the longest lasting cut flower, continuing to grow after being cut. Florists are trained to cut the stems a little shorter than required for the classic floral arrangements seen in historical paintings.

How hardy are your plants?

All plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

FH - Fully hardy - will withstand temperatures down to -15 C (5F) and often lower.
H - Hardy - are happy down to at least -5C (23F).
HH - Half hardy - can withstand down to around 0C (32F).
T - Tender - may be damaged by temperatures below 5C (41F)
WT Warm temperate can withstand temperatures between 5-10 C (41-50 F)
ST Sub Tropical are happy in temperatures between 10-15 C (50 59 F)
TR Tropical can withstand temperatures above 15 C (59 F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
