Description

An eye-catching salvia with vibrant green foliage, strong dark stems and creamy yellow, pink blooms. An unusual plant that brings the intensity of moonlight on a clear, still evening to your planting and illuminates vases and bouquets from June to November. Perfect for pots, rockeries and border planting when provided with an open growing medium which does not retain too much water. 'Moonlight Serenade' has aromatic foliage and is a hardy perennial which will withstand frosts if given a sheltered site with a south or west facing aspect. Much loved by bees, butterflies and other pollinators it is a valuable addition to a wildlife garden as well as providing drought tolerant, weed-suppressing groundcover. Grows to a height of 90cm with a spread of 60cm if given a spot that benefits from full or part sun.
