Description
Transport your harvest home in style with the Burgon & Ball traditional wooden trug. Handmade from strips of shaped FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) populus wood - a tree in the willow family. Held together with solid brass pins and screw fixings this hard-wearing, natural trug is hand made for strength and stability. Retaining its natural wood grain, it is 40cm long and 23cm wide. Grow your own fruit to enjoy at home with two of the most well-known, hardy and deservedly loved. Apple, Malus domestica 'Braeburn' produces fragrant white blooms followed by smooth skinned, red and green fruits with firm, juicy flesh. With the ability to be store in cool, dry conditions for an impressive 4 months, it will reach a height and spread of up to 2.5m if left unpruned as grown on P22 rootstock. Conference Pear, Pyrus communis, is a partially self-fertile tree valued for its suitability to cooler climes, resistance to disease, and reliably heavy crop of firm, sweet, juicy, russet-skinned fruit. Grown on Quince C rootstock this variety will grow to a height and spread of 2.5m. An RHS AGM award winner for outstanding garden performance.
