Description

Primula Provence Mixed (Primrose) Designer mix of antique pastels for a soft romantic vibe Opening their delicate blooms to herald the early spring, the delicious pastel and antique shades of your 'Primula Provence Mixed' will infuse the garden with a much-needed dash of warmth as if announcing the end of the long, winter months. Derived from the Latin word 'primus' meaning 'first', Primulas have long been loved and celebrated as one of the earliest spring flowers. Offering a visual treat, these jolly flowers will cluster pertly above dark green foliage, each featuring a single whorl of petals with a charming egg-yellow eye. A traditional favourite in British springtime gardens, this selection of picture-perfect blooms will instantly endow your garden with a puff of spring magic in a myriad of complimentary shades. Your 'Primula Provence Mixed' will reach a height and spread of approximately 15cm to 20cm, preferring moist, well-drained soil in a shady part of your garden. However, these full hardy perennials will also tolerate your poorest clay and will cuddle placidly under your deciduous trees and shrubs. Requiring no frost protection, these perky Primulas will bring instant charm to your garden with their scintillating shades, particularly when mass planted. 'Primula Provence Mixed' has an RHS hardiness rating of H7
