Description

Perfect Primulas Collection of peachy perfect pastels and purples. As soon as spring begins to tiptoe into your garden, the selection of scrumptious blooms in our Perfect Primulas Collection will warm you with toasty peaches, sunny yellows and unusual pastel tones. Rich purple will also add vibrancy to your garden, in the form of a striking candelabra, complete with silvery-green frosted foliage. Derived from the Latin word 'primus' meaning 'first', primulas have long been loved and celebrated as one of the earliest spring flowers. Marking the end of the bleak, colder weather, these traditional British favourites will offer you an enchanting celebration of the seasons to come during the earliest of spring days. This assortment of delicate blooms will provide you with a glorious range of colours which will contrast and co-ordinate charmingly with any planting palette. Stunning when mass planted, these Primulas will create a sensational display with your spring bulbs. Naturally occurring in woodlands, your Primulas will prefer moist, well-drained soil and grow well with a little sunshine during the day. In maturity, 'Primula capitata mooreana' will attain a height and spread of 20cm x 30cm; 'Primula Provence Mixed' will extend to 20cm x 20cm and 'Primula Antique Rose' will reach 30cm x 30cm. The plants in Perfect Primulas Collection have an RHS hardiness rating of H7, so are fully hardy with no winter protection required.
