One of the earliest paeonia to bloom in spring, Paeonia lactiflora Pink Hawaiian Coral offers sensational and richly coloured blooms which have an ebullient and decadent feel. A profusion of flamboyant, semi-double blooms in shades of coral-pink unfurl from throughout May and June - each bloom becoming flushed with orange-apricot shades as they mature. They like any aspect other than north-facing and reach a mature height of around 90cm, spreading to 75cm. A hardy, herbaceous perennial that needs no winter protection in most of the UK.
