Heavenly scent, like you would not believe. Clouds of sumptuous scent surround an abundance of large, upward facing, trumpet shaped, white blooms, bringing a touch of elegance to your borders and containers. Guests will admire these delightful, long flowering plants all day, then as the sun falls and the moon rises, passing nocturnal insects will be drawn to the strong night-time fragrance. Don't be fooled by the delightful scent, this half-hardy annual actually contains nicotine, hence the name. The Tobacco Plant, as it is more commonly known, is widely grown for tobacco production, but it just so happens to make excellent ornamental plant for our idyllic summer flowers gardens. Plant in moist, rich, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade and enjoy the attractive blooms all summer and into the autumn. Seed can easily be collected to sow the following season.
