Description

Star-shaped and highly fragrant, it is no wonder miniature Narcissus Topolino has won multiple awards, including the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit.Topolino translates as 'little mouse' from Italian, and these wild-looking little beauties will certainly run amok in your grassy areas and borders, naturalising easily in clumps and drifts.First introduced in 1951, Narcissus Toplino is petite daffodil with pointed white outer petals and a lemon-yellow trumpet. The flowers bloom on stems up to 15cm tall in March and April, trumpeting the arrival of spring.Plant your bulbs at any time in autumn, 10cm deep on moist, well-drained soil. A great variety for pots and rockeries thanks to their height.Group pots of Narcissi Topolino together with other flowering bulbs - perhaps more miniature daffodils, pale blue muscari or hyacinths for a highly-scented, classic spring display.
