One of the best sights toward the end of winter, is to see the happy, yellow blooms, heralding the arrival of warmer, sunnier spring days. The nodding heads, that move in the gentle breeze are sure to make one smile. Commongly known as the wild daffodil, the larger, pale yellow petals surround a slightly darker yellow central trumpet above long narrow, grey-green leaves that rise from the base of the stem, and will naturalise to form drifts. Narcissus pseudonarcissus are wonderful as cut flowers to enjoy in a vase in your home. Ofen planted as bulbs, buying plants In The Green, means that the foliage has already grown from the bulb, reassuring you that these fully hardy bulbs are healthy. Growing to a height of approximately 30cm, Narcissus pseudonarcissus prefer to be grown in moist, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
