Mini Gaultheria Procumbens This mini Gaultheria would make the perfect little Christmas gift that a loved one can treasure for years to come. Commonly known as the partridge berry, this evergreen shrub brings a hint of festive cheer to any home as an abundance of colourful red berries are produced, contrasting against the deep green foliage. While the hardy feature makes a great edition to seasonal arrangements in this decorative pot, it is not just for Christmas; it will survive outside all year round, and you will be greeted will small, bell shaped flowers between May and June. Simply plant it in partial or full shade in moist but well-drained soil and watch as it grows up to 30cm tall and spreads almost indefinitely. This shrub is easy to grow and looks fantastic as an edging plant for wild garden beds and informal garden paths. We will supply your gaultheria in the 10cm decorative pot shown above.

How hardy are your plants?

All plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

FH - Fully hardy - will withstand temperatures down to -15 C (5F) and often lower.
H - Hardy - are happy down to at least -5C (23F).
HH - Half hardy - can withstand down to around 0C (32F).
T - Tender - may be damaged by temperatures below 5C (41F)
WT Warm temperate can withstand temperatures between 5-10 C (41-50 F)
ST Sub Tropical are happy in temperatures between 10-15 C (50 59 F)
TR Tropical can withstand temperatures above 15 C (59 F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.

We love to deliver to all of our customers within the UK including the Highlands and Islands at no extra cost to you - just £4.95 per order. European post and packing is charged at £5.95 per collection.

Your order will be confirmed by email and each item ordered will have an individual delivery date. Your items will arrive before the dates given unless Mother Nature lends a hand by providing unseasonable weather. On these rare occasions we would update you by email.

Items may be sent together, individually or a mix of the two depending on the individual delivery dates and our final quality inspection.
