Lavish Liriope Collection

A robust, richly coloured bundle of beauties which naturalise to form clumps of elegant, arching, linear leaves. In August, Lavish Liriope muscari Collection bears strong spikes of dainty flowers in rich and reflective shades of purple. Blooms remain until November time and develop berries that extend interest into winter. Densely packed foliage brings excellent weed-suppressing groundcover and flowers are beneficially pollinator friendly. Happy planted in containers or in open ground and well-suited to dry shade once established. Perfect for vases and other floral displays. Collection comprises: 'Ingwersen' - a newcomer with lavender hued blooms; 'Okina' - an exciting variety with variegated foliage and plum-purple flowers; and 'Royal Purple' another newcomer with regal, deep-purple flowers. Plants in the Lavish Liriope muscari Collection prefer moist, well-drained soil in full sun to full shade with any aspect other than south facing. Hardy, evergreen perennials which reach a height and spread of 30-45cm.
