This much-loved cottage garden perennial is marvellously adaptable - charming as either part of an aromatic hedge or scenting the air as you brush past it in a border, container or rockery.The silver-grey, evergreen foliage on your Lavender 'Munstead' acts as a dramatic foil to the highly fragrant, purple-blue spikes of blooms. From June to September, these spears of densely-packed flowers swathe your compact, woody shrub - acting as a magnet for nectar-seeking pollinators.Fresh or dried, your lavender infuses flower arrangements and bouquets with aromatic allure. Salads and dishes can also be flavoured by your edible herb. When fully grown, Lavender 'Munstead' reaches a maximum height and spread of 50cm by 60cm.This hardy perennial tolerates dry conditions and flourishes in a fully or partly sunny location with well-drained soil.
