Description

Fashion changes throughout our lives. Some fashions look good some not so good, (We can all cringe at some of the hairstyles and clothes we wore as teenagers!) In the garden fashions also come and go. One of the best introductions and most popular in recent years, has been the desire for green flowers. Green represents rebirth, renewal, youthfulness, vitality but more importantly it looks superb in amongst the other flowers. Hydrangea Rembrandt vibrant verde has several shades of green which it maintains throughout the summer. Little pink centres do appear, yet only seem to emphasise how green the blooms are. Thus, you have flowering in your garden a green flowering hydrangea right up to the early autumn. When summer starts to pass into the autumn, Vibrant Verde, dramatically adjusts. The small splashes of pink take over, then amazingly and quickly the flowers turn red. It is simply delightful. In the generations of gardeners to come, we can envisage a future country sayings along the lines of, 'When vibrant Verde turns red, it'll soon be time to get your jumper on' because when this happens, Autumn is around the corner.
