Description


Shade-loving treasure trove A rare and unusual yellow hellebore with a colour-changing habit and double petalled flowers. Flowers emerge in late winter or early spring and their yellow colour intensifies to gold as they mature, often with pink edges to further highlight the jewel-like qualities of this shade loving wonder. Blooms are large, up to 7.7cm across, and great for cutting. Helleborus x hybridus 'Golden Lotus' prefers a site with humus rich, moist, well-drained soil in part sun or full shade. A hardy perennial (H7) with an evergreen or semi-evergreen habit dependent upon where you garden in the UK. Will grow to a height of 40cm with a spread of 60cm.

How hardy are your plants?

All plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

FH - Fully hardy - will withstand temperatures down to -15 C (5F) and often lower.
H - Hardy - are happy down to at least -5C (23F).
HH - Half hardy - can withstand down to around 0C (32F).
T - Tender - may be damaged by temperatures below 5C (41F)
WT Warm temperate can withstand temperatures between 5-10 C (41-50 F)
ST Sub Tropical are happy in temperatures between 10-15 C (50 59 F)
TR Tropical can withstand temperatures above 15 C (59 F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.

We deliver to all of our customers within the UK including the Highlands and Islands for just £5.95 per order.

Your order will be confirmed by email and each item ordered will have an individual delivery date. Your items will arrive before the dates given unless Mother Nature lends a hand by providing unseasonable weather. On these rare occasions we would update you by email.

Items may be sent together, individually or a mix of the two depending on the individual delivery dates and our final quality inspection.
