Description

Hellebore Hearts of Gold Collection (Lenten Rose) Centres of attention Our gorgeous Hellebore Hearts of Gold Collection will warm the cockles of your heart no matter how chilly the weather. These stunning double Hellebores in summery hues of blushing rose, rich purple and maroon are a marvellous way to banish the chill from your dormant winter garden. Raising the heads of your shy bowl-shaped blooms, you will be enthralled by the unique beauty of each individual variety. Delicate pinks will flush the creamy white petals of your 'Helleborus orientalis Anemone Pink'; dramatic gold stamens will glow within the deep plum blooms of your 'Helleborus orientalis Anemone Red' and fascinatingly marbled, mauve petals will grace your 'Helleborus orientalis Anemone Red Spotted'. Affectionately known as Christmas or Lenten roses, this hardy selection of Hellebores will steadfastly fill your garden with exquisite long-lasting blooms from winter to early spring. These winter lovelies will adore moist, well-drained soil and a sheltered home in dappled sunlight under your trees or shrubs. Your reward will be an impressive carpet of flowers, offering a sparkle of springtime even at the bleakest time of year. Brimming with nectar, the blooms in your Hellebore Hearts of Gold Collection are also extremely attractive to pollinators, so don't be surprised if a sleepy bumble bee or two makes a beeline to your garden. Deer and rabbit resistant, your Hellebores will eventually grow to a height and spread of 35cm x 35cm in maturity. The plants in Hellebores Hearts of Gold Collection have an RHS hardiness rating of H7
