Description

Harmonious Hebe Collection (Shrubby Veronica) Tiers of terrific evergreens Versatile, vivacious and full of vim, the wonderfully dense foliage of your 'Harmonious Hebe Collection' will ensure your garden is an oasis all year round. Packed with perfectly partnered leaves - either blueish grey, variegated grey-green or a purple tinged, glossy green - you will be delighted by the satisfying chunk of vibrance these agreeable New Zealand natives provide. Named after the Greek goddess of eternal youth, your hebes will enthusiastically emulate her role. While Zeus's daughter came bearing ambrosia, these celestial evergreens will reward you with nectar, and your garden will become a gift from the gods to visiting butterflies. This trio includes an option for any bare patch in your garden - no matter what the size. Varying in dimensions, your hardy hebes range from the dainty, award-winning 'Red Edge' with its enchanting colour shifting foliage, to the impressive dimensions of the majestic 'Midsummer Beauty'. Moist, well-drained soil will keep these lovely shrubs flourishing, and they will also appreciate sunny or part shady locations. Your 'Hamonious Hebe Collection' will stay impressively neat and tidy if you remove spent flower heads, and you will also be rewarded with a longer display of seasonal blooms. Reaching maturity in 5-10 years, 'Starlight' will extend to a height and spread of 1.2m; 'Red Edge' will reach 70cm x 1m and 'Midsummer Beauty' will expand to 1.5m 'Starlight' has an RHS hardiness rating of H3, while 'Red Edge' and 'Midsummer Beauty' have an RHS hardiness rating of H4.
