Smothered in vibrant, buttery-yellow, open-mouthed blooms dwarf Forsythia Mini Gold will fill your garden with a sweet narcissi-like scent, brightening the dullest of winter days and heralding the arrival of spring. The bright blooms appear on bare stems like an explosion to your senses, long before the lush, green leaves emerge in early summer. The real finale is in the autumn as the foliage turns sumptuous shades of red, orange and yellow before dropping. Unique, unlike other Forsythia, Mini Gold only grows to a height and spread of approximately 1.2m, which makes it perfect for containers as a specimen plant, or in borders so the vibrant blooms will add a dazzling splash of colour, or in borders or as a colourful, low growing hedge. Incredibly easy to grow, versatile and fully hardy, Mini Gold prefers well-drained soil in sun or partial shade, the blooms are loved by bees and butterflies and will be enjoyed for many years to come.
