Aquatic plants come in an array of sizes, shapes and colours all contributing to the ecosystem whether oxygenating the water or attracting insects to the area. These flowering varieties will bring the insects as well as make the pond come alive with colour. Bright yellow iris blooms open from May and can flowering though to August. Wonderful for cutting as the tall stems reach up to 1.2m tall. Great for planting in groups and in the water margins where it will flourish. Myosotis a native to the UK requires very moist soil, producing sweet blue flowers. Naturalising well and will self-seed for repeat performance each year. Leucojum flowers earlier in the year from March to June and produces sweet white nodding bell-shaped flowers. Great for cutting. Hardy perennials all requiring moist soil, in sun or partial shade.
