Description

Incredibly vibrant, large, magenta and zesty lime green, daisy-like blooms ensure that Echinacea Green Twister will bring the party to your summer borders and containers. A stunning and intriguing clash of colours, with unusual two-tone petals, the green becomes more prominent as each bloom matures. Demanding notice, especially from our pollinating friends, the giant blooms dazzle from mid-summer until the first frosts of autumn. Echinacea Green Twister will give you armfuls of cut flowers for vases and arrangements for weeks on end. Once mature, little plantlets are produced so you will have more to share. Happy in coastal sites and wildlife gardens. Deer resistant but adored by our pollinating friends, the giant daisy-like blooms are held on sturdy, strong stems. Echinacea are also known as the American Coneflower and have long been used by Native North Americans as a traditional herbal remedy for various ailments - including snake bites. Nowadays, echinacea are commonly used to relieve symptoms of colds and flu. Echinacea Green Twister prefers to be grown in well-drained soil in sun and will cope in partial shade. A hardy perennial which will grow to an approximate height of 80cm, spreading 45-60cm. Thriving outside for you to enjoy for years to come with no winter protection required
