The word Diascia originates from the Greek word diaskeein, which means to adorn with beauty, and you will certainly want to adorn your pots with these breath-taking flowers. Fall head over heels in love just as Romeo did, with this floriferous Juliet. Commonly known as Twinspur this upright, half-hardy perennial will enliven your pots, carrying oodles of white, pink, or rose blooms all summer long. This diascia has a much larger flowers and begins to flower slightly earlier than other Diascia, so you can enjoy the refreshing colours for even longer. These work really well with other bedding favourites like Verbenas and Petunias. It is only hardy down to about -5 and may need a little protection over the winter. Juliet prefers moist but well-drained soil or compost and a position in part or full sun.
