Description

Crispy and crunchy, these cucumbers are pint-sized An age-old favourite, cucumbers have been cultivated for over 3000 years - clearly, we can't get enough of them in our salads. A perfect choice for either your conservatory, patio container or courtyard garden, your 'Cucumis sativus Cucumber Mini Stars' will enhance your meals with a generous crop of delicious, scaled-down cucumbers. When fully grown, these succulent fruits will reach around 10cms in length - ideal for a light lunch or summer sandwich! A burst of bold, yellow blooms will appear as early as May, swelling into dangling, smooth-skinned cucumbers between July and October. In a fully sunny, sheltered location, your 'Cucumis sativus Cucumber Mini Stars' will thrive when planted in moist, well-drained soil. As a tender annual suited to warm temperate climates, your plant should also be kept indoors until any chance of frost has passed. Support your Cucumber 'Mini Stars' with canes as it matures, and when container-grown, make sure your plant also gets a fortnightly feed. Regular watering will help encourage a wonderfully juicy crop of cucumbers. When fully grown, your 'Cucumber sativus Cucumber Mini Stars' will reach a maximum height and spread of 2.5m by 50cm.
