Description

Awoken from winter slumber by Crocus korolkowii 'Kiss of Spring', the colours are sure to entice you outside into your garden, no matter what the weather. The blankets of yellow flowers create a jubilant exhibition from late winter onwards. And for the hibernating insects emerging from their hibernation, crocuses offer a vital supply of nectar and pollen. The very large, scented, bright yellow blooms are produced before and with the foliage. Bright yellow, each bloom is adorned with brown-purple feathering at the base of the outside petals, looking like they have been hand-painted. Native to central Asia Crocus korolkowii 'Kiss of Spring', with unusual membranous corms. Crocus korolkowii 'Kiss of Spring' prefers to be grown in moist, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Being a much-loved, hardy, bulbous perennial it will give years of enjoyment with no winter protection required.
