Cosmos bipinnatus Sensation Purity is such an easy-to-grow, versatile plant producing large, crisp white blooms which look sensational. Whether grown in borders or containers, this Cosmos flowers for a long time - from early summer to late autumn. Such a florist's delight too, as each cut stem lasts around 10 days, you will have armfuls of blooms to fill plenty of vases within your home. Easy to grow and loved by bees and butterflies.Masses of striking, single, saucer-shaped blooms with bright yellow centre are held on tall strong stems above the trademark Cosmos feathery foliage. Commonly known as the Mexican Aster as the originate from Mexico where they grow wild.Cosmos bipinnatus Sensation Purity reaches a mature height of approximately 60-75cm, spreading to 30-40cm, when grown in moist, well-drained soil in sun or part shade. It is a half-hardy annual which will self-seed a little in your garden, otherwise, the seed can easily be collected and sown the following year to produce many more new plants to enjoy.
