Fragrant, semi-double blooms open salmon-pink in late spring, maturing to orange and then finally yellow. Height 90cm, spread 85cm. lactiflora 'Command Performance's' full-petalled flowers are among the largest of all peony varieties. The young flowers start out a dark red, then become brighter whilst blooming, then shifts its colour from red to dark orange to salmon, eventually turning from peachy cream. This wonderful transformation has made Command Performance a popular choice. Height and spread 1m. lactiflora 'Gardenia' starts as a blush pink bud, then once in bloom, develops large, ivory white flowers with a marvellous fragrance. All are herbaceous hardy perennials.
