Description

Calibrachoa Can Can Rosies Apricot is energetic, enthusiastic and extremely long flowering. This calibrachoa will not tire, ensuring you have the best of baskets all summer and well into the autumn. Can Can Rosies Apricot produces hundreds of frilly, rose-bud-like blooms, around 3-4cm in diameter from late spring through to the first frosts. Vigorously smothering the dense mounds of attractive, semi-trailing foliage. With a similar habit to the more traditional Million Bells, Can Can Rosies trail down to 50cm, are drought tolerant and spectacular in your containers, borders, and baskets: with the flowers remaining open whatever the weather. Almost maintenance free, and with only the minimum of deadheading required. A distant relative of the Petunia, Calibrachoa originate from Latin America, growing on cliff edges and rocky screes. Often thought of as mini-Petunias, though not actually the same. Can Can Rosies Apricot prefers to be grown in well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Reaching an approximate height of up to 20-50cm, Calibrachoa are half-hardy perennials which with protection from frost, will flower again the following year.

All plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

FH - Fully hardy - will withstand temperatures down to -15 C (5F) and often lower.
H - Hardy - are happy down to at least -5C (23F).
HH - Half hardy - can withstand down to around 0C (32F).
T - Tender - may be damaged by temperatures below 5C (41F)
WT Warm temperate can withstand temperatures between 5-10 C (41-50 F)
ST Sub Tropical are happy in temperatures between 10-15 C (50 59 F)
TR Tropical can withstand temperatures above 15 C (59 F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
