Description
As you lay on your sun lounger and stare at these mesmerising plants, you may find yourself wishing that the trumpet shaped blooms would break into song. The quirky little flowers with their throats ringed in contrasting colours adorn semi-trailing stems in abundance from May to first frosts, Calibrachoa Can Can Blueberry Punch, Calibrachoa Can Can Black Cherry and Calibrachoa Cabaret Sky Blue are all high spirited plants that pack punch, if you don't mind the pun. They look brilliant planted together where the varying purple tones can work together in harmony. Admittedly, the most eye-catching of these Calibrachoa is Can Can Black Cherry, the blooms resemble luxurious velvet, you cannot help but touch. These are all evergreen, half-hardy perennials, often referred to as 'mini petunia' because they have similar requirements. Fairly heat and drought tolerant, they prefer a position in full sun and moist but well-drained soil. They can be planted in beds or borders but we highly recommend planting them in pots or hanging baskets.

How hardy are your plants?
All plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.
FH - Fully hardy - will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
H - Hardy - are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F).
HH - Half hardy - can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F).
T - Tender - may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)
WT – Warm temperate – can withstand temperatures between 5-10 °C (41-50 °F)
ST – Sub Tropical – are happy in temperatures between 10-15 °C (50 – 59 °F)
TR – Tropical – can withstand temperatures above 15 °C (59 °F)
Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
