Description

A brand-new dwarf Buddleja with incredible double blooms, Buddleja High Five is truly incredible and would look beautiful as a feature in a pot on your patio or balcony. Buddleja are usually plants for large gardens, where they can take over and become invasive, but now, with High Five, you can enjoy it in a smaller garden. Dense, compact, non-invasive foliage creates an attractive shape. In spring, it becomes covered with many plump flower spikes that rise and burst with honey-scented, double blooms from early summer to autumn. Also known as the Butterfly Bush, butterflies and bees cannot resist visiting to enjoy the nectar-rich feast whilst celebrating with a 'Give me five'. As autumn comes, the leaves will fall and fresh new foliage emerges in spring. Buddleja High Five, just like it's taller cousins is so easy to grow, preferring well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Reaching a mature height and spread of approximately 80cm it will thrive outside in your borders or containers for years to come with no winter protection required.
