Tell Me More...
Shorter and more compact than more traditional varieties, which can become a little brutish, Buddleja davidii 'Butterfly Candy Little White' is a new fragrant variety, which is perfect for smaller gardens, and for containers. Plump, conical, flower spikes burst with smaller, scented, crisp white blooms from late summer to autumn. Your garden will be full of scented clouds, and visited by many of our pollinating friends, who will come by for a feast, hence the common name Butterfly Bush, A well-known family of shrubby plants, Buddleja are native to China and Japan and named after an English botanist, Rev Adam Buddle.Buddleja davidii 'Butterfly Candy Little White' prefers to be grown in well-drained soil in sun or a partly shaded spot, where it will reach a mature height and spread of around 80cm. Being a fully hardy perennial, it will flourish outside all year round with no winter protection required.
