The Brass Band Collection consists of five varieties with a beautiful trumpet section. Trumpeted daffodils are the classic, conventional and traditional shape of a daffodil. We all love our 'daffs' and those familiar trumpet-shaped flowers come the Spring. Seeing your daffodils bloom is the first sign winter is releasing its icy grip and good times are here. In this collection the varieties are Narcissus 'Jetfire' - is a dwarf compact variety, the petals are slightly reflexed which emphasises the bright orange trumpet; Narcissus 'Sinopel' - introduced in 1974, bred in USA, strong perfume, open flowers and an astonishing lime trumpet; Narcissus 'Thalia' - This is an old variety which was a firm favourite of the Victorians. 2 flowers per stem, crisp white and an elongated flared trumpet; Narcissus 'Topolino' - a miniature variety, with whits 'tissue' petals and a bright yellow flamboyant trumpet; Narcissus 'Toto' - flowers start a cream colour, fading to pure white with maturity, a dwarf variety, 2-3 flowers per stem and a thin elegant white trumpet. A delightful collection of traditional trumpeted daffodils.
