Should you ever have the chance to visit the beaches of New South Wales or climb the spectacular Blue Mountains of Australia, take time to look at the some of the plants in these areas. For it is there your eyes will set upon an enchanting small compact daisy, which forms a colourful mounded 25cm shrub. You will be looking at a Brachyscome. Of all Brachyscome there is one which stands apart from the rest and this is Brachyscome Brasco Violet. The neat nature of this little daisy has made 'Brasco Violet' much sought after for growing in baskets and as part of large container planting schemesu2026and for good reason. The popularity of this plant is not because this Brachyscome is easy to grow, nor because it produces masses of daisy flowers, it is because the depth of the violet colour is intense, captivating, and rare; highlighted by the golden-yellow centre. You may not have heard of Brachyscome Brasco Violet before; however, this is one small plant which leaves a big impact. Recommended.
