Clouds of multi-headed flowers emerge zesty white in June adding vibrancy and vitality to the garden. As the colours of Blushing Hydrangea paniculata Collection shift with the maturing flowers they change to pinkish tones whilst flowers remain until autumn. Green foliage is held from March to November - also shifting colour before dying back over winter. Happy in borders, pots and as a focal point in open ground. Blooms can also be cut for the vase and will even retain their colour when dried for extended displays. Blushing Hydrangea paniculata Collection comprises: an exciting newcomer 'Romantic Ace' which is fully hardy and reaches a height of 2m with a mature spread of 1.5m; delightfully bashful 'Vanille Fraise' which is a hardy shrub that matures to a height of 2.4m and spreads to 1.5m; and the slightly smaller 'Diamantino' - ideal for a container or patio which matures to a height and spread of 1.2m. All prefer moist, well-drained soil, preferably with a neutral or mildly acidic pH, in full sun or partial shade. Deciduous shrubs which do not need winter protection throughout most of the UK.
