Commonly known as a Snapdragon, Antirrhinum antirinca are fragrant, half-hardy annuals that enjoy a lovely long flowering season. This floriferous vision will show off its beautiful bicoloured blooms from June to October. Large, snout-shaped flowers, often said to resemble the mouth of a dragon, sit atop vibrant green foliage, looking phenomenal in borders or containers. Antirrhinum major Antirinca Copper Apricot, Rose and Yellow Maroon are great for cutting and drying; the unique flower shape looks delightful when arranged in a vase. Antirrhinums will grow most successfully in well-drained soil in full sun. They do not react well to wet ground, so if you are aware of heavy soil conditions, try adding grit or coarse organic material before planting. Once planted, be sure to feed and water your snapdragons until they are fully established. Throughout summer, deadhead any faded flowers to encourage the production of more blooms.
