A symbol of exotic beauty, this popular houseplant is traditionally seen with red flowers but this head turning rare variety features the glossiest deep purple-black flowers, generally referred to as 'spathes.' We promise to deliver to you an Anthurium that already has 4-6 spathes that you will get to enjoy for months, thanks to the plants exceptionally long flowering period. The spathes will be surrounded by attractive, waxy foliage that has an almost luxurious feel to it. This romantic plant looks great with most interior styles and would be a fantastic coffee table feature. The stylish zinc container, that you also receive, complements the high gloss spathes perfectly and brings a little bit of sparkle for the festive season. Relatively low care requirements make this the perfect Christmas gift. All the plant needs is to be watered thoroughly once per week and kept out of direct sunlight; we recommend placing it in an east or west facing window because your anthurium can actually get sunburnt! We also suggest you prune your anthurium after flowering to remove any spent flowers and repot it every two to three years to avoid stunting its growth. With some tender love and care your black beauty could reach 45cm in height and width.
