Description

Agastache mexicana Red Fortune is a wonderful, low-maintenance perennial with aromatic green foliage and vibrantly coloured blooms all summer and into the autumn. An abundance of tubular reddish-pink blooms are sure to impress and are a real magnet to pollinating bees and passing butterflies. Excellent when cut for the vase, you will have armfuls of blooms to decorate your home. The compact foliage releases a gorgeous liquorice scent when disturbed so perfect planted alongside a pathway or near a seat so you can fully enjoy the aroma. Deer, rabbit and slug resistant, Agastache Red Fortune is really easy to grow, both drought and heat tolerant, preferring well-drained soil in sun although will cope happily with part shade too. Growing to a height of approximately 60cm and spread 40cm, Agastache Red Fortune is a fully hardy perennial so will thrive outside for you to enjoy for years to come with no winter protection required.
