Description

Fabulous for adding a splash of vibrant, tropical colour to a hot, dry garden or herbaceous border, Achillea Paprika will flower all summer - from June until September. Flower stems grow to 75cm tall and are topped by a flat head made up of multiple tiny, rich ruby-red, daisy-like flowers. The blooms fade to gorgeous, muted shades of rust and pastel orange as they mature. Excellent for cutting and adding texture and height to floral arrangements; Achillea Paprika will last for well over a week in the vase. The flower heads can also be hung upside-down to dry and add colour to later flower arrangements. Plant Achillea Paprika in early summer in any soil type and watch hoverflies and pollinators flock to these wonderful plants when they flower! A spot in full sunshine is best for these heat-loving herbaceous perennials, which are also drought-tolerant. Cut stems to near ground level once they have finished flowering in autumn and Achillea will return year after year requiring very little attention.
