About Venidio

Venidio are tender perennials with bright, solitary daisy-like flowers that are produced in vibrant colours with a striking vivid yellow centre. These stunning flowers are held on robust, slender stems atop a mass of attractive, silvery foliage. Venidio are best suited to borders or containers where they can be transplanted to warmer climates when cold weather sets in. They will also make fantastic cut flowers for a vase within the home. You should expect to see this variety grow to an approximate height and spread of 45cm (18”).

How to plant Venidio

Venidio are best planted in well-drained soil of loam, chalk and sand within an acidic, alkaline or neutral PH balance. Dig a hole that is as wide and as deep as the root ball and amend with organic matter to improve the overall drainage of your soil. Mix thoroughly, watering well on completion to settle the roots into place. Venidio are best positioned in an area of full sun where they will thrive to optimum effect.

How to care for Venidio

It is crucial to keep Venidio in a frost-free environment over the winter period as they are tender. Deadhead your plants regularly to encourage a further flush of blooms throughout active growth. Water thoroughly when the soil becomes dry, especially during periods of drought.

How to propagate Venidio

It is possible to propagate Venidio by softwood cuttings.
