Triteleia are best planted in a well-drained soil of loam or sand within an acidic, alkaline or neutral PH balance. They are best positioned in an area that receives full sun. Triteleia are well suited to flower beds and borders in cottage, informal, city, courtyard or Mediterranean garden styles.

Soil may need to be amended with compost or grit to improve its drainage before planting. Plant your bulbs around 8-12cm (3-5in) deep with the tip facing upwards and the roots at the bottom. Water well after planting.
Water when the top of the soil feels dry to the touch. These plants will need protection from frosts as they are not hardy so it is recommended to give them a really generous mulch to protect them in the cold weather.
It is possible to propagate Triteleia by offsets.
