Plant outside in early summer when all risk of frost has passed. Amend the soil with well-rotted compost before planting.
Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist. Feed every two weeks with a balanced liquid fertiliser. This should then be changed to a fertiliser high in potash once the first fruits appear. Leave the tomatoes on the vine so they can ripen naturally. Prune off old leaves towards the end of the season.
It is possible to propagate Tomatoes by seed.
